River Region Chamber to Host State of Education on March 14
Event Expands from Superintendent’s Forum to State of Education, Now Covering Pre-K to Workforce Readiness
Luling, LA—The River Region Chamber of Commerce proudly presents the 2025 River Region State of Education. This annual event brings together the region's top education leaders to provide critical updates on education and workforce development.
Previously known as the Superintendent's Forum, the State of Education event has been renamed to reflect its expanded scope. With the addition of Quintin Taylor, Chancellor of River Parishes Community College (RPCC), the event now encompasses the entire educational journey—from a child's first school experience to when that child, now an adult, enters the workforce prepared to fill high-wage, high-demand, and high-caliber jobs in the River Region.
"By expanding this event to include higher education, we are ensuring that our conversations about workforce readiness don't stop at high school graduation," said Ray Gregson, CEO of the River Region Chamber of Commerce. "This event underscores our commitment to ensuring our students are career-ready, industry-aligned, and prepared to drive economic growth in our region."
