Witches' Walk at Destrehan Plantation

Gather your sisters, mothers, daughters, and friends for a magical afternoon of shopping, treasure hunting, haunted tours, music, dancing, dining, and a costume contest. Guests are encouraged to arrive in their most enchanting attire and begin the evening with a complimentary signature Witches’ Brew welcome cocktail. They can browse the Plantation Store and receive 15% off gift shop merchandise, excluding consignment items. 

Throughout the event, guests can search the grounds for hidden treasures, enjoy autumn-themed photo opportunities, and experience a guided haunted tour of Destrehan Plantation. 

The festivities will continue with a spirited witches’ dance to “Schüttel deinen Speck (Shake Your Bacon).” Guests will then join the Witches’ Walk procession to the Mule Barn, where a bewitching buffet dinner and beverages will be served. A cash bar featuring alcoholic beverages will also be available. Guests can compete in a costume contest featuring three categories: Most Enchanted Costume, Best Hat, and Best Broom. The magical afternoon will conclude with a special closing toast to the coven.

During the event, Mystic Holly will invite guests to “Step Beyond the Veil” through tarot readings, dream interpretation, mediumship, and crystal ball readings. Optional five-, 10-, and 15-minute sessions will be available for an additional cost, ranging from $20 to $55.
